Scott Paap is a Principal Member of the Technical Staff in the Systems Analysis group at Sandia National Laboratories in Livermore, CA. Scott has extensive experience in modeling and analysis of early-stage technologies based on cradle-to-grave economic and environmental metrics. He has led analyses of biofuels and hydrogen production processes, photovoltaic and solar thermal electricity generation technologies, and novel materials and processes for air separation, carbon capture, and water purification.
Prior to joining Sandia, Scott received a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
